An Indian actor and dubbing artist, Thalaivasal Vijay is known for his association with Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam film industry. The actor is usually seen in supporting and character roles.As an actor, he got his breakthrough in the Doordarshan television series Neelaa Maala. Soon Vijay made his debut in the film Thalaivaasal, which earned him his screen name Thalaivaasal Vijay.

Vijay, in his career spanning over 25 years, has appeared in more than fifty films such as Thevar Magan, Mahanadhi, Magalir Mattum, Vishnu, Karuvelam Pookkal, Kadhal Kottai, Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, Devathai, Nandhini, Santhosham, Periyathambi, Priyamaanavale, Kannukkul Nilavu, Iraniyan, Vallarasu, Ennavale, Kasi, Paarthale Paravasam, Devan, Bagavathi, Unnai Ninaithu, Devathaiyai Kanden, Aayudham, Ponniyin Selvan, etc.

He has worked as a dubbing artist for the films Nala Damayanthi, Vettaikaaran, Magic Magic 3D, Kannathil Muthamittal, Vettai, etc. Before becoming an actor, Vijay collaborated with the choreographer Chandralekha and started performing with the dance troupe, internationally. He is known for films like Kadal Kuthiraigal (2018), Gilli Bambaram Goli (2019), NGK (2019), Luca (2019), Kunjiramante Kuppayam (2019) and Asuran (2019).
