Theodore Melfi is an American writer, director, and producer who is best known for his directorial debut St. Vincent released in 2014. He went on to write, direct, and produce the critically and commercially acclaimed movie Hidden Figures (2016). His 2017 release includes the movie Going in Style, directed by Zach Braff, starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, and Alan Arkin.
