Timothy Spall is a well-known English film actor. He made his debut in the film The Life Story of Baal (1978). Timothy then starred in a few television shows like Play for Today and Summer Season. He also acted in films like Gothic (1986), Crusoe (1988), To Kill a Priest (1988), Life is Sweet (1990) and Secrets and Lies (1996). He then formed a good bonding with director Mike Leigh, acting in his films Topsy-Turvy (1999) and All or Nothing (2002). He is best remembered for playing the roles of Peter Pettigrew in the Harry Potter series, Beadle Bamford in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (2007), Peter Taylor in The Damned United (2009) and Winston Churchill in The King`s Speech (2010). A few of his recent releases include Assassin`s Bullet (2012), Upside Down (2012) and The Love Punch (2013). Timothy has been one of the most long serving and versatile actors of British cinema. He now has the film Alice Through The Looking Glass lined up for a May, 2016 release. His 2018 release includes the animated adventure comedy Early Man directed by Nick Park.
