Tom McGrath is an American director, animator and voice-over artist. He graduated from The University of Washington and the California Institute of the Arts. Tom began his career as an animator for films such as The Thing What Lurked in the Tub (1988), Cool World (1992), Space Jam (1996) and Hercules and Xena The Animated Movie: The Battle for Mount Olympus (1998). He was also the storyboard artist for How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) and Cats and Dogs (2001). Tom later co-directed, wrote and lent his voice for the character of Skipper in the computer-animated film
Madagascar (2005). Some of his notable works as a director and voice-over artist include Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (2008), Megamind (2010) and Madagascar 3: Europes Most Wanted (2012). McGrath`s 2014 release includes Penguins of Madagascar. His other animated movies include
