A popular Swedish filmmaker, Tomas Alfredson is noted for his work in Swedish and Hollywood cinema. The multiple award-winning director won international acclaim for directing the 2008 vampire film, Let the Right One In and the espionage film, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy in 2011. The two-time winner of Guldbagge award for Best Director, Alfredson made his directorial debut Bert: The Last Virgin (1995), a Swedish film, which won him a Guldbagge Award for Best Director. His other notable directorial ventures include Four Shades of Brown (2004), and The Snowman (2017), a British crime thriller starring Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Val Kilmer and Charlotte Gainsbourg. Apart from directing films, Alfredson has also directed several Swedish TV series'.
