Tracy Letts is an American dramatist, screenwriter, and actor, who won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play, August: Osage County (2008). Tracy has written the screenplay of films like Bug (1993), Killer Joe (1996) and August: Osage County. As an actor, his TV career includes series like Prison Break (2005-09) and The District (2004). Tracy has featured in films such as Straight Talk (1992) and Guinevere (1999). In 2013, Tracy was the recipient of the Tony Award for Best Actor, for his play Who`s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? His film The Big Short released in 2015 and was nominated for five Academy Awards.

In 2020, he played the character of Mr. Dashwood in Greta Gerwig`s Oscar-Nominated Romantic Drama Little Women. His 2021 project includes the psychological thriller movie The Woman In The Window. Letts adapted the film screenplay from the novel of the same name.
