Trevor Jones is a South African film score composer. He received his Master's degree in Film and Media Music from the University of York. He got his first break with his score for The Last of the Mohicans. His various film works includes Brittania: The First of the Last (1979), Runaway Train (1985) and Cliffhanger (1993). He has won the American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers (ASCAP) Award for his work in Notting Hill and From Hell.
