American filmmaker Trish Sie is best known for directing the 2014 dance film Step Up: All In, and has also been associated with the making of several popular music videos. A former professional ballroom dancer and choreographer, Sie first ventured into direction through music videos for the alternative rock band OK Go. One among Sie's earlier works was nominated for the Best Music Video Award at the 2006 MTV Europe Music Awards, and she has since teamed up with OK Go for several of their songs. In 2017, Sie directed the ensemble musical comedy Pitch Perfect 3, which went on to become a box office success despite the mixed reviews.
