Uday Ballal is an Indian cinematographer, who has worked in the Tulu and Konkani film industries. His work on the documentary, The Yakshagana Puppets (2014), won him ample praise. Uday made his big screen debut as a cinematographer with the 2017 Konkani movie, Ashem Zalem Kashem. In 2017 he worked behind the camera for director Devadas Kapikad`s Are Marler. His 2019 releases include DK Bose and Jabardasth Shankara.
