Uday Pratap Singh is an Indian writer -director who primarily works in the Punjabi film industry. In 2015, Uday debuted as a writer in the Punjabi film industry with the critically acclaimed social-drama, Qissa Punjab. Subsequently, he went on to write the screenplay and dialogues of his 2017 action-drama, Rocky Mental.
In 2019, he made his directorial debut with the super hit film, Dil Diyan Gallan for which he also wrote the script. His 2022 release includes Main Te Bapu. His other directorial projects include Chal Jindiye.
