Indian screenwriter Udayakrishna was a part of the Udayakrishna-Siby K. Thomas duo, who split in 2015. He predominantly works in the Malayalam film industry and started as an assistant director. Although most of his work has been criticized for lack of content, his movies have went on to become hits, owing to big superstars working on those movies. His most notable works include C.I.D. Moosa (2003), Runway (2004), Thuruppu Gulan (2005), Twenty:20 (2008), Pokkiri Raja (2010), Christian Brothers (2011) and Mayamohini (2012). After splitting with Siby K. Thomas, Udayakrishna`s first independent script was Puli Murugan in 2015, and he also worked on the script of his former partner Siby K. Thomas` directorial debut. His 2018 release includes Aanakalla, directed by Suresh Divakar.
