Udayan Aparajet, a popular social worker, and actor, is noted for his work in the Odisha and Kannada film industry. Having worked behind the camera for about nine years, Udayan made his debut as an actor with Khiladi: The Game Changer (2017) and thus became the first person from Odisha to play a lead role in a Kannada film. His other release of the year includes Badmash Toka, an Odia drama film directed by Rajani Ranjan. Apart from acting, Udayan is also known for his philanthropic initiative UD: Unplugged Dreams, which does many social works across different states in India.
