An Indian actor and writer, Uttam Halder, is noted for his work in Bollywood cine industry. Having started his career as an actor with Mohandas (2009) where he played the lead role, he subsequently starred in films like Gunday (2014), Singham Returns (2014), Gabbar is Back (2015), and Haseena (2017), an Indian biographical crime drama directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Apart from acting, Uttam has also worked as a writer and has written for a short film titled Gift (2017) and a documentary In Our Country Cinema Is the Most Popular & Most Corrupt Art Form (2017).
