Uttam Mohanty is an Indian actor mainly works in the Odia film industry. He debuted in the year 1977 with the film, Abhiman (Oriya). He has worked in atleast 135 Oriya films, 30 Bengali films and 1 Hindi film to his credit. Apart from receiving several awards, he has also received the Odisha Living Legend Award in the year 2012. Mohanty`s 2017 releases include Apobad, directed by Mrityunjoy Roy.

In 2018, he appeared alongside Aparajita Mohanty and Karan in Sudhakar Vasanth`s Odia drama Shakti.
