Having begun his journey in Ballet, Uttam moved to Contemporary Dance and Classical Movement Study and has since then developed his own integrated element of movement and incorporating the techniques in his body. He is known to be a great teacher and a very versatile dancer who has worked with leading choreographers like Fernando Aguilera, Ritika Chandra and Bharatnatyam Guru Sudha Jagannathan.
