V Manohar is a veteran music director, lyricist, film director and actor who works in Kannada and Tulu movies. A recipient of Karnataka State award, he has been the man behind over 1000 songs in the industry. He made his debut with the serial Danda Pindagalu, and composed music for a lot of television serials which included Uyyale (2003), Mounaraaga (2005-2006) and Chakrateertha (2012), among others.

His music also made him immensely popular in the film industry and he went on to compose music for over 100 Kannada films which included Gejje Naada (1993), Janumada Jodi (1996), O Mallige (1997) which was also his directorial debut, Duniya (2007), and Janumada Gelathi (2008), to name a few. Manohar also branched out to acting and essayed famous but minor roles in several films. As of 2018, he is associated with Mataash. His 2020 release includes Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu.
