V R Gopalakrishnan is an Indian movie director who has worked on the movies Kakkathollayiram, the comedy drama Kaazhchakkppuram and Bharya starring Jagadish. He was associated as the screenplay and dialogue writer with the movies Vandanam, Chakkikotha Chankaran and Ee Parakkum Thalika. As an assistant director, his work includes Thathamme Poocha Poocha, Vellanakalude Naadu, Ishtam and Naayakan. His 2017 venture as a writer includes the Malayalam movie Chodhyam, under the direction of G. S. Vijayan, starring Rashin Rahman and Rupini in lead roles.
