An aspiring professor-turned-actor, Vaibhav Mangle is an acclaimed Marathi theatre, TV and film artist. Born in Devrukh, Ratnagiri, India, Vaibhav holds a degree in B.Sc from the Ratnagiri University. He traveled to Mumbai in 2001 and went on to appear in several plays. However, the actor, who is now regarded as one of the best comedians of the Marathi entertainment industry, gained recognition with the TV show Ghadlay Bighadlay: his comic timing and dialogue delivery being widely appreciated by the audience. Later, he along with noted Marathi comedian Anand Ingle, delivered outstanding performances in comic sketches on the show Fu Bai Fu. He also played the character of a man who disguises himself as a woman in the TV show Majhe Pati Saubhagyavati aired on Zee Marathi Network from 2015 to 2016.
Vaibhav started appearing in feature films since 2004 and one of his most prominent roles came with the blockbuster movie Timepass (2014) directed by Ravi Jadhav. Vaibhav essayed the role of Madhav Lele aka Shakaal. One of the dialogues of the movie "Nayaa hai Waha" went on to become viral at the time of its release. Some of his other movies include Harishchandrachi Factory (2010), Shala (2012), Touring Talkies (2013), and Timepass 2 (2015). In 2017, he appeared in the movie Boyz directed by Vishal Sakharam Devrukhkar. Vaibhav featured alongside Mrunmayee Deshpande and Siddharth Jadhav in the Marathi comedy Shikari, which released in 2018.
