Valeria Golino is an Italian actress and director who is best known for her role opposite Tom Cruise in the 1988 film Rain Man. Golino started her film career in 1983 and has since then starred in numerous films spanning English, Italian and French cinema. Some of her credits include Big Top Pee-wee (1988), Hot Shots! (1991), 36, Quai des Orfevres (2004), and Cash (2008). More recent appearances include the acclaimed French film Portrait of a Lady on Fire (2019).
