A couple of years later, the duo established "Bob Industries", a production house that worked on commercials. It took five years for the duo to complete their debut directorial feature, the critically acclaimed movie, Little Miss Sunshine (2006): work on the movie had begun in 2001. Upon its release, the movie received critical acclaim and was also nominated in the Best Picture category at the Academy Awards. Their next release was Ruby Kazan which was released in 2012.
