An Indian actor, Varun Tej is known for work in Telugu cinema. The actor who comes from an influential family in the Telugu film industry is the son of yesteryear legendary actor Nagendra Babu and the nephew of superstar actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. After making his debut on the silver screen as a child artist with Hands Up! (2000), Varun`s maiden film as the lead actor was Mukunda (2014), a Telugu drama written and directed by Srikanth Addala. In 2015, the actor starred in Kanche, the first Indian movie on the Second World War. His other notable film credits include Mister (2017) directed by Srinu Vaitla and Fidaa (2017) directed by Sekhar Kammula. His 2018 release includes Tholi Prema and Antariksham 9000KMPH. His 2019 release includes F2 and Suryakantham. He then featured in Ghani (2022), F3: Fun and Frustration (2022), Gandeevadhari Arjuna (2023), and Operation Valentine (2024).
