Veerendra Shetty, also known as Veerendra Shetty Kavoor, is a Director and Screenwriter in the Tulu film Industry. He was born in Mangalore and completed his M.A. in Mass Communication & Journalism from Karnataka State Open University. He is well known for the film Chaali Polilu (2014) as a director, which broke several box-office records. In 2019, he marked his acting debut in the film Savarna Deergha Sandhi (2019) and Savarna Deergha Sandhi (2019).
