Making his directorial debut in 2011 with Siddharth, Shruti Haasan, and Hansika Motwani starrer movie Oh My Friend, Venu Sriram is known for his work in the Telugu film industry. Six years after his debut, in 2017, he directed the drama MCA (Middle-Class Abbayi), which features Nani and Sai Pallavi in lead roles. He then went on to write and direct Vakeel Saab (2021) featuring Pawan Kalyan, Shruti Haasan and Prakash Raj in the lead.
