A versatile artist, Vicky Ranawat is an Indian actor, director, and producer who mainly works in Hindi cinema. Having started his career in the film industry as an assistant director, he made his debut with Insaaf Kaun Karega in 1984. His subsequently assisted in films like Teri Meherbaniyan (1985), and Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988), which also marked his debut as an actor.

After gaining experience as an assistant director, Vicky made his debut as the lead director with 15th August in 1993. His other notable directorial ventures include Nyaydaata (1999), Dal: The Gang (2001), Kaaboo (2002) and Haseena (2018), a Hindi drama featuring Inayat Sharma, Mohit Arora, Ankur Verma and Arpit Soni in important roles.
