A famous Indian cinematographer, Vijay C Kumar works predominantly in the Telugu film industry. The son of renowned cinematographer C. Nageshwara Rao, he started his career on his father's footsteps in 1984, as an operative cameraman under Lok Singh for Vijetha films. Throughout his career he worked for a plethora of cinematographers and built an amazing set of skills in his craft.
He got his first big break as a cinematographer in 1988 with the film, Vivaaha Bhojanambu. He then worked on the unfinished work of Ankusam and moved further to Agraham (1993) and Ammoru (1995), which was lauded for its technical aspect. His other notable work includes Godavari (2006), for which he was honoured with a Nandi award in 2008, Happy Days (2007), Victory (2008), Leader (2010), Life is Beautiful (2012), Balakrishnudu (2017), before he was a part of Nartanasala (2018).
