Vijay Krishna Acharya is an Indian film director, screenwriter, dialogue writer, and lyricist rolled into one, known for his exceptional skills in television as well as films. Making his directorial debut with the film Tashan in 2008, he is also the man behind scripting the Dhoom franchise. After his directorial debut met with unfavourable reviews, Acharya made his second directorial venture with Dhoom 3, which grossed Rs 4 billion in 10 days and went on to become the highest-grossing Bollywood film of all time in international markets in 2013. He has also dabbled in television writing scripts for a lot of popular shows like Just Mohabbat, Life Nahin Hai Laddoo, Son Pari, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin, which went on to become immensely popular with the masses. His other cinema ventures include Bluffmaster (2005), Dhoom 2 (2006), Pyaar Ke Side Effects (2006), Guru (2007), and Raavan (2010). His 2018 projects include Thugs Of Hindostan.
