Vijay Prasad is a director, producer and writer who is best known for Petromax (2022). He started his career in Kannada TV serial Silli Lalli as comedy actor and writer. Later he debuted in direction with Kannada movie Sidlingu (2012). His other projects include Neer Dose (2016) and Parimala Lodge (2022). He won the Filmfare Award for Best Director for Sidlingu in 2012.
