Vijay Raghavendra is an Indian actor who is best known for his work in the Kannada film industry. The son of veteran Kannada film producer S.A. Chinne Gowda, he made his acting debut as a child artist in the 1982 romantic drama Chalisuva Modagalu. Raghavendra won his first Karnataka State Award (for Best Child Actor - Male) for his performance in Chinnari Mutha (1993), and his first National Award (for Best Child Artist) at the age of 15, for his performance in the 1994 film Kotreshi Kanasu. Some of his best known works include Khushi (2003), Kallarali Hoovagi (2006) and Chowka (2017). Besides these, he has also worked as a playback singer in films like Fair & Lovely (2014), Akira (2016) and Nanna Ninna Prema Kathe (2016). Other significant acting credits include Kollura Sri Mookambika (1993), Swami Vivekananda (1998), Sevanthi Sevanthi (2006) and Jani (2017). His 2018 release includes Kismath and Paradesi C/o London. His 2019 release includes Yada Yada Hi Dharmasya and Malgudi Days.
