Vijay Velukutty is a Tamil film editor and director born in 1987 in Chennai. He began his career as an assistant editor under Suresh Urs, working on more than eighty films across Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Bengali cinema, before launching his independent editing career in 2014 with Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani. His editing credits include Naan Thaan Bala, Thiranthidu Seese, Gulaebaghavali, and Jackpot, and he served as stunt editor on the acclaimed Malayalam film Kammatipaadam.

In 2015 he directed the short film Koothu, completed in fifty hours, which won the Platinum Film of the Year award at the India Film Project and marked the start of his ongoing collaboration with director Kalyaan. In 2026 he edited P. S. Mithran's Sardar 2, starring Karthi in a dual role alongside S. J. Suryah, Malavika Mohanan, and Rajisha Vijayan.
