Vikas Bahl is a renowned Indian film producer, screenwriter and director who is noted for his work in Bollywood film industry. One of the owners of the Phantom Films production house, Vikas produces films under the banner, which is co-owned by Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane and Madhu Mantena. The winner of several prestigious awards including three National Film Awards and a Flimfare Award is best known for his directorial ventures Chillar Party (2011), Queen (2014), which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Director. Apart from directing, Vikas has also worked as a producer and a screenwriter for several films. EARLY LIFE Vikas Bahl Born was born in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. His father, Ravish Bahl worked with the Indian Oil Corporation and his mother is a housewife. While growing up, Vikas was a shy child and his friends called him `Fattu.` After completing his graduation from Ramjas College, Delhi, Vikas Bahl moved to Mumbai and enrolled at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies to pursue MBA degree.
