Vinayan is an Indian movie director and producer who has been associated with Indian cinema since 1989. During his career, spanning over three decades, he has not only worked with established actor but has also launched new faces, who have gone on to become big actors, such as Jayasurya, Indrajith Sukumaran, Anoop Menon, Priyamani, Manikkuttan, and Meghana Raj. Some of his most noted works include Vasanthiyum Lakshmiyum Pinne Njaanum, Karumadikkuttan, Oomappenninu Uriyadappayyan, Dada Sahib, Vellinakshatram, Aakasha Ganga, Rakshasa Rajavu, and Kalyana Sougandhikam.
