About
Vince Flynn was an American author who was best known for penning political thrillers like American Assassin, Extreme Measures, Memorial Day and Term Limits. Flynn overcame the challenges of dyslexia to become an author at a young age, debuting in 1997 with Term Limits and following it up with the Mitch Rapp series of novels, which remain his enduring legacy. Between 2006 and 2007, he had also served as a consultant for the acclaimed television series 24. After a three-year battle with prostate cancer, Vincent Flynn died in 2013, at the age of 47. The 2017 action thriller American Assassin is based on Flynn's 2010 novel of the same name.
