Screenwriter Vini Vishwa Lal has penned a handful of Malayalam movies so far, and is perhaps best known for his association with the crime drama Second Show (2012), which marked the acting debut of Dulquer Salmaan. Other significant writing credits include the mystery thriller Koothara (2014) and the comedy Theevandi (2018), which starred Tovino Thomas in the lead role. His 2019 release includes Kalki, directed by Praveen Prabharam.
