Known for his plays on societal issues, Dr. Vivek Bele is an Indian novelist and playwright. He served as a screenwriter on the 2012 Marathi comedy, Badam Rani Gulam Chor. The Marathi play Katkon Trikon, which is written by Bele is a hit with the audience. The 2018 movie Aapla Manus is based on Katkon Trikon. It is directed by Satish Rajwade has Iravati Harshe, Nana Patekar and Sumeet Raghvan playing pivotal characters. Bele also served as a writer on the Hotstar Original Hindi comedy cineplay, Kis Kiss Ka Kissa (2017).
