Formerly an investment banker, Vivek is an Indian film producer, known for popular Bollywood films like The Lunchbox (2013) and Mickey Virus (2013). He is the brother of Arun Rangachari and co-owner of DAR Motion Pictures. He has co-produced Marathi films like Lalbaug Parel: Zali Mumbai Sonyachi (2010), City of Gold - Mumbai 1982: Ek Ankahee Kahani (2010), Teecha Baap Tycha Baap (2011), etc. He has also co-produced various Hindi films, including Haunted - 3D (2011), Dangerous Ishhq (2012), Ugly (2013), Monsoon Shootout (2013), D-Day (2013), Fattack (2014), Baji (2015), Haraamkhor (2015).

His other projects include 2018 release Bucket List starring Madhuri Dixit.
