Vivek Sagar is an Indian music composer who started off with the 2013 Telugu action movie Race, under the direction of Ramesh Raparthy. He then went on to be associated with the 2016 romantic entertainer film Pelli Choopulu starring Vijay Deverakonda and Ritu Varma. Directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, the movie received positive reviews from critics and went on to become a commercial success. Vivek`s music was appreciated to be refreshing, getting him nominated at the Filmfare Awards in the Best Music Album Category, and IIFA Utsavam Award for Best Music Direction - Telugu, both for the movie Pelli Choopulu. The music director`s 2017 venture includes the Telugu action thriller film Yuddham Sharanam. Directed by debutant Krishna Marimuthu, the movie stars Naga Chaitanya and Lavanya Tripathi in lead roles along with Srikanth in a significant role. in 2018, he composed the music for Sammohanam and Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi. His 2019 release includes Mithai, directed by Mr. Prashant Kumar.
