Walon Green is an American screenwriter, film producer and director his debut film was The Wild Bunch (1969) as a screenwriter. His various film credits include Dinosaur (2000), The Hi-Lo Country (1998), The Island of Dr. Moreau (1996) and Robocop 2 (1990). He won the Academy Award for the Best Documentary Feature for the film The Hellstrom Chronicle (1971).
