Walter Thompson was an American film editor, born on May 8, 1903. He was famous for Farewell, My Lovely, Shamus, The Paper Chase and Mixed Company. He had a credit of over 69 films. He has been nominated for Academy Awards twice for This Above All and The Nun’s Story. He had won an Eddie Award for The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm. He died on 17 December 1975.
