Whit Bissell, was an American character actor. He began his career with the film Holy Matrimony. He appeared in 100s of films and television series episodes as a distinguished character actor. He was regularly casted in low budget science fiction and horror movies like a mad scientist in the film I Was a Teenage Werewolf and as professor Frankenstein in I Was a Teenage Frankenstein. He also played doctor in two other films namely Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Creature from the Black Lagoon. He appeared on TV shows like City Detective, The Lone Ranger, The Tall Man.
