Whitfield Cook was an American screenwriter, playwright, author who is well known for his contributions in two Alfred Hitchcock films, Stage Fright and Strangers on a Train. He has worked for more than 13 films in his career as a writer. Some of his popular credits include High Barbaree, The Sailor Takes a Wife, Playhouse 90.
