William Chang is a Hong Kong film editor, art director, costume and production designer. A frequent collaborator of director Kar Wai Wong, Chang has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Achievement in Costume Design for his work in The Grandmaster (2013), and has won the Technical Grand Prize at the Cannes Film Festival for his work in the romantic-drama film In the Mood for Love (2000). Significant film credits as an editor include Fallen Angels (1995), 2046 (2004), My Blueberry Nights (2007) and I Am Not Madame Bovary (2016). Notable among his production designing credits are the films Last Affair (1983), Days of Being Wild (1990), Chungking Express (1994) and The Floating Landscape (2003). Chang has won close to 20 Awards in various categories at the Hong Kong Film Awards, an achievement that remains unparalleled till date.
