About
With an experience of more than 1000 commercials, William David is the first cinematographer of South Indian cinema to use 3D Stereoscope. Known for his ability to create death-defying acrobats behind the camera, William has worked in Kannada, Hindi and several other regional film industries.

William began his career in 2008 with the Kannada movie Shivani. Subsequently, he worked on films such as Minchu (2009) and Kaddu Mucchi (2013). However, one of the most prominent works of his career came in 2015 with the critically acclaimed movie RangiTaranga. William received high praise from the critics with S. Viswanath of Deccan Herald stated: "Lance Kaplan and William David capture the verdant and scenic vicissitudes of mountainous ravines and quietly flowing rivers of coastal Mangaluru, as also the famous tea gardens and hills of Ooty". His 2017 release includes the movie Rajaratha directed by Anup Bhandari. His 2018 release includes Kannada drama Iruvudellava Bittu.
