William Schallert is an American character actor, who had worked over 370 projects. He made his debut in The Foxes of Harrowin 1947. He was best known for his roles in The Patty Duke Show, Santa Barbara, In the Heat of the Night & Innerspace. He has been nominated for Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Religious Programming. He was died on July 6,1922inLos Angeles, California, USA.
