Making his debut in the film industry in 2000, William Sherak is an American film producer. He debuted as an executive producer with the crime-drama, Four Dogs Playing Poker. Sherak turned a film producer with the 2003 horror movie, Darkness Falls. Since then he has produced movies like Little Black Book (2004), The Messengers (2007), Bangkok Dangerous (2008), The Burrowers (2008), Role Models (2008), Middle Men (2009), Columbus Circle (2012), and Truth (2015). Sherak also produced the TBS TV series, Are We There Yet? (2010-2012). It was based on the characters from the 2005 movie of the same name. In 2018 Sherak served as the producer on director Sylvain White`s horror movie, Slender Man. The movie is based on the creepypasta Internet meme created by Eric Knudsen.The cast has Annalise Basso, Joey King, Julia Goldani Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Kevin Chapman, Javier Botet and Alex Fitzalan in pivotal roles.

Apart from being a producer, Sherak is also a visual effects producer. He has worked on the visual effects of movies like Thor (2011), Captain America: The First Avenger (2011), Avengers Assemble (2012), Iron Man 3 (2013), Star Trek into Darkness (2013), Pacific Rim (2013), Godzilla (2014), Mad Max: Fury Road (2015), Jurassic World (2015), Everest (2015), Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), and Miss Peregrine`s Home for Peculiar Children (2016). His 2019 release includes Ready Or Not, directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin.
