Winona Ryder, born Winona Laura Horowitz, is an iconic American actress who gained prominence in the late `80s and `90s. When she was the only 12, the actress began to study at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco and went on to make her debut in Lucas (1986) as a 15-year-old! Her work in Tim Burton`s Beetlejuice (1988) got her recognized. Over the years, she received acclaim for her performance in movies including Heathers (1988), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Girl, Interrupted (1999), Martin Scorsese`s The Age of Innocence (1993), and as Jo March in the classic adaptation Little Women (1994). She even won Academy Award nominations for the last two movies. After a brief hiatus in the 2000s, Ryder made a comeback with films like
