Born in Dunkirk, France, Xavier Gens is a multiple award-winning director, writer, and actor. Having started his career as a production assistant, he worked in films like Maximum Risk (1996) and Double Team (1997), before eventually becoming a director. He directed a few short films before making his feature film directorial debut with Frontier(s) in 2007. His other notable film credits as a director include Hitman (2007), The Divide (2011), Cold Skin (2017) and The Crucifixion (2017), a horror mystery thriller featuring Brittany, Sophie Cookson, and Corneliu Ulici in important roles.
