Yogesh Gaur was an Indian film lyricist best known for his work in the film Anand (1971). He had written various Hindi film songs in a career spanning over five decades. Yogesh made his Bollywood debut when he wrote songs for the film Sakhi Robin. He was soon recognized for his work, receiving appreciation for songs like Kahin Door Jab Din Dhal Jaaye and Zindagi Kaisi Hai Paheli in Hrishikesh Mukherjee`s Anand. Yogesh also penned songs for movies like Manzilein Aur Bhi Hain (1974), Baton Baton Mein (1979), Rajnigandha (1974) and Manzil (1979). One of his last contributions was for the Sanjay Mishra starrer Angrezi Mein Kehte Hai (2018). Yogesh Gaur passed away in May 2020.
