Yogi Babu is an Indian actor who is known for playing comedic roles in Tamil cinema. The actor who made his debut on the big screen with the Yogi (2009) rose to fame with his brilliant performance in Maan Karate (2014). His other popular films include Komban (2015), Kaaki Sattai (2015), Pokkiri Raja (2016), Jackson Durai (2016), Atti (2016) and Sathriyan (2017). His 2018 credits include Mannar Vagaiyara, Mohini, Sema, Junga, Sarkar, Gorilla and Pariyerum Perumal. His 2019 ventures include Viswasam, Pattipulam, Airaa, Watchman, Kanchana 3, Mr. Local and Idhi ChalaThakkuva, Dharma Prabhu, Jackpot, Kanni Rasi, Namma Veetu Pillai, Puppy, Bigil, Jada and Iruttu. His 2020 releases include Darbar, Dagaalty, Sandimuni, Mookuthi Amman and Dhowlath. In 2021, Yogi Babu appeared in the Tamil science fiction movie Trip and Sulthan, an action-drama film that stars Karthi and Rashmika Mandanna in prominent roles.
