Zeishan Quadri is an Indian writer, actor, director and producer. He is the scriptwriter and co-writer of the screenplay for the Bollywood crime super-hit films - Gangs of Wasseypur 1 and Gangs of Wasseypur 2. Quadri, who grew up in Wasseypur moved to Mumbai to pursue a career in acting and films in 2009. He wrote the scripts for Firauti, his own film Meeruthiya Gangsters and Madhur Bhandarkar`s Madamji. In addition to the role of `Definite` in Gangs of Wasseypur 2, Quadri has also acted in the crime Bollywood film, Revolver Rani. He will soon be seen in upcoming film Akki, Vikki te Nikki and John Abraham Entertainment`s Banana. Quadri has a production house called Friday to Friday Entertainers and Media Pvt Ltd. Zeishan Quadri will be soon releasing his directorial debut Meeruthiya Gangsters, which will be produced by him as well. He was the associate producer for the film Prague (2013). Zeishan Quadri, who believes in making different cinema says the audiences take home the characters, story and dialogues. According to him, it is the content that matters. His 2015 release includes Meeruthiya Gangsters. His 2018 release includes Hotel Milan. His 2020 release includes Chhalaang.
