About The Event
Sigamani is unemployed, and his father sends him to Madurai in search of a job. However, Sigamani leaves the job and returns home. Kaveri and her brother, Mayilpandian, arrive at Sigamani's house and claim that Sigamani married Kaveri and then abandoned her.
Fortunately, Sigamani receives the blessings of the "God of Luck". Mayilpandian asks Sigamani to impersonate MLA Pattabi, who bears a striking resemblance to him, and promises to pay him for the role.
Sigamani accepts the offer. However, the Legislative Assembly is dissolved by the Governor. Eventually, Sigamani marries Kaveri.
